Each year, Mama’s Kitchen and Village Hillcrest commemorate World AIDS Day by recognizing and remembering those affected by AIDS, as well as the ongoing leadership efforts made to end the epidemic. It is an evening of special memories, singing and sharing, and a candle lighting to honor those affected by AIDS.
Join us at our 25th annual Tree of Life Ceremony and candlelight vigil, 6 pm Monday December 1, 2016 at Village Hillcrest, 3965 Fifth Avenue. The event is free and open to the public and will include special guest speakers, holiday music by the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus, and complimentary refreshments. Many thanks to our returning Presenting Sponsor, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, who helps make this event possible.
If you would like a personalized ornament to hang on the tree, a donation of $15 for Mama’s Kitchen is requested. Two ornaments can be personalized for $25. Order personalized ornaments online at www.mamaskitchen.org or the evening of the event. All proceeds benefit Mama’s Kitchen.
