Over time, she formed a group of volunteers to cook and deliver free meals to individuals who were unable to shop for groceries or cook for themselves due to the debilitating effects of AIDS.

Our annual Mama's Pies Thanksgiving Bake Sale is on!
Our pies are baked and donated with love by local bakeries, restaurants, and caterers, and will be ready for pickup on Wednesday, November 26, at one of our public drive-through pickup locations.
Each pie sold provides 12 meals to a critically ill San Diegan. Last year, we provided over 50,000 meals to homebound individuals vulnerable to malnutrition across all of San Diego County.
