2015 was a busy year for Mama’s Kitchen. Here’s a look back to some of the fun we had.
|We started serving healthier whole wheat bread in 2015.
|Our 25th Anniversary Celebration raised critical funds to feed our clients struggling with AIDS or cancer.
|Our meal staging area got a makeover during our Board of Directors’ Presidential Dining Experience.
|Guests dined under the stars at our 25th Anniversary Celebration in September.
|In 2015, Mama’s volunteers spent 9,883 hours delivering meals to home bound residents in need.
|San Diego Rainbow Scuba Club donated the proceeds of their Diving for Life trip to Mama’s Kitchen for the 5th year in a row.
|Our volunteers logged 13,900 hours prepping and packaging meals in 2015.
|Artists from Canstruction created a sculpture of Mama’s Logo using cans of tuna at Mama’s Day.
|Everyone had a blast at our annual Wine Tasting.
|Chefs and guests mingled at Mama’s Day 2015.
|Susan G. Komen supported Mama’s Kitchen and volunteered at the Kitchen in August.
