The Coronado Playhouse raised funds for Mama’s Kitchen during their run of the play, Sugar. They also sold Mama’s cookies during intermission and held a food drive to support our mission. Thank you Coronado Playhouse!
The Irvine Company came in to help prep meals & snacks for our meal delivery bags on March 3. Giving back to the community is at the core of Irvine Company’s culture. This commitment to philanthropy is inspired directly by Chairman Donald Bren, who has been enriching communities on behalf of Irvine Company and the Donald Bren Foundation for decades.
Men and women from the U.S. Navy volunteered in our Kitchen, supporting the mission of Mama’s Kitchen. The United States Navy is dedicated to giving back to communities and making our country the best that it can be.
The House of Pacific Relations Queens organization hosted a food drive for Mama’s Kitchen and collected a large amount of nonperishable food. Their efforts will help our low income HIV-positive neighbors supplement their nutrition and stretch their budgets.
Employees from the Jack in the Box corporate office volunteered in our Kitchen on April 7, helping prep food for our home-delivered meals clients. Jack in the Box is dedicated to making a positive difference in their communities and encourages employees to get personally involved by volunteering.
