Our Home-Delivered Meal Service provides free home deliveries of three nutritional meals a day, for every day of the week. A referral from a case manager, social worker or physician is required to begin service and recertification by the referral source is required every six months thereafter.
Clients must have a diagnosis of HIV Symptomatic/AIDS or cancer and be mentally or physically unable to prepare their own meals. Cancer clients must be under age 60. Meals are delivered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; our delivery hours in Central San Diego are 4:00 – 6:00pm, and in North and East County 3:00 - 5:00pm.
Our Executive Chef prepares more than 20 meal plans to meet clients’ individual nutritional requirements. With a six week menu cycle, we supply 100% of the daily nutrition recommended by the American Dietetic Association for people with HIV Symptomatic/AIDS or cancer.
